The Copper Kettle has stylish rooms, a highly recommended restaurant and tea room serving home cooked meals, snacks, cakes and sandwiches.
Located in the town of Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor National Park we are ideally positioned as a base for walking, cycling and visiting local attractions.
The Copper Kettle offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation in our three spacious en-suite bedrooms, all with sofas, that are decorated to a very high standard.
We are open all the year round and offer good home cooked food in our licensed character tearoom where all food is freshly prepared on the premises by qualified chefs at a reasonable price.
We serve breakfast from 9:00am, lunch and main meals (including Daily Specials) between 12:00 to 2:30 pm, traditional afternoon teas between 2:00pm to 4:00pm and snacks, salads, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cream teas and cakes between 10:30 am and 4:00pm

We have our own private car park & a large garden to the rear of the building with outdoor seating and tables where our guests can relax and be served refreshments.

We are delighted to be able to serve customers refreshments and meals outside in the garden. We offer outdoor dining during the day – our tables and chairs are well spaced for safe distancing.
We called into Bovey Tracey today on our way back off the moors and decided to have a cream tea at the Copper Kettle. We sat in the lovely garden at the back and were served quickly with a lovely cream tea – home made scones and large helpings of cream and jam. Tea was nice and hot and plenty of hot water for extra cups. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

The Copper Kettle is on Station Road as you turn into Bovey Tracey off the A382 at the roundabout just 5 minutes from the A38
Perfect place to drop in and have an excellent meal. We dropped in by accident, what a wise choice. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating nothing was to much trouble, food was all freshly cooked and delicious, it will become our regular drop off for a meal. well done!
